Spritz is a traditional Italian cocktail with a long history, whose origins date to the beginning of the 19th century with Hapsburg domination in the Lombardy-Venetian Kingdom. The Hapsburg soldiers were used to drinking beer, which has a lower alcohol content, so they started diluting Veneto wines with water. Its name may therefore come from the German verb spritzen, meaning to spray. In its ready-to-serve version, Spritz Pronol is the modern evolution of this cocktail, which was created in Veneto and reached out to the world.

Characteristics:

Spritz Pronol derives from combining a base wine with flavoring and coloring substances and sugar. The addition of some carbon dioxide creates the bubbles, making it fresh and lively.
