A cold camellia that blooms in such a winter. “Born Kantsubaki” is also a Junmai Daiginjo sake that conveys the strength and nobility of the core in the fragility, like the Kantsubaki that blooms dignifiedly in the snowy Echizen garden. It’s sophisticated yet mellow flavor flows irresistably over the tongue. It’s fully ripened aroma is ever present regardless of whether it’s warmed or chilled.     Masahiro Distillery was founded in 1883 by Shobun Higa, whose father Shozoku Higa was the Master Chef for the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom. With the help of Shozoku Higa’s reputation and connections, the distillery was awarded the license to make the traditional Okinawan spirit ‘awamori’ and has since established itself as one of the oldest and largest distilleries in Okinawa.
